Hello, Welcome, etc etc

So, this blog is:

• Me liking to think I have lots of musical knowledge, and an opinion that counts that people would maybe like to take heed of,
  
• A general place for me to throw lots of little bits of useless, but entertaining nonetheless, bits and pieces that I feel the need to share with the world, whether they're listening or not,
• A chance for me to get stuck back into my old-school 'forum-geek' ways,
  
• Named after a Libertines track - The Good Old Days - which I'm quite surprised was available, and is also quite befitting I feel, given what will posted.

I'm sure as time goes by, all of the above will become apparent... She says with hope...
